Lauren Passell
Lauren is the founder of Tink Media and writes two podcast newsletters, Podcast the Newsletter and Podcast Marketing Magic. Her podcast discovery podcast is called Feed the Queue.
Lauren has been writing for print and digital publications for more than 20 years, working and freelancing for outlets like Parenting magazine, Jezebel, Fitness, Barnes & Noble, and more. While working in book publishing, she picked up a podcast addiction and started a now defunct podcast called Podcast Podcast (it was about podcasts), and a still extant newsletter called Podcast the Newsletter.
Her podcast obsession led her to transition to the audio industry, where she worked on growth for the podcast Masters of Scale before founding her own company, Tink Media, which specializes in podcast growth and discovery. Lauren has taught podcast marketing and PR at SXSW, Podcast Movement, Podfest, The Podcast Show in London, and at Harvard, UCLA, The New School, Columbia, Emerson, and more. She is a judge for The Webbys, The Ambies, The International Women's Podcast Awards, and The Signal Awards.
Lauren lived in New York City for 19 years before moving to West Philadelphia, where she now lives with her cat, husband, and daughter (not in that order).
