Peloton bikes are expensive—there's no doubt about that. A basic bike is $1,445, the Bike+ is $2,495, and the All-Access membership is $44 per month—but hey, at least the shipping and setup are free. Unfortunately, that's not where the costs of a Peloton end. The good news is that the extra money you spend on some accessories and additional tools will go a long way. From getting a better workout with the right shoes and weights, to protecting your floor with a quality mat, these are upgrades worth making.
Take it from me: I bought a Peloton four years ago and have spent plenty of time considering what I need to make my rides even better and more beneficial. Beyond some Delta cleats, which we'll get to, you don't need any of these if you want to just perform a straightforward ride, but you'll enjoy some major benefits if you do decide to start upgrading your bike.
