Becca Lewis is home maintenance writer who aims to foster confidence in and inspire DIY enthusiasts at all skill levels.

Becca attended Southern Connecticut State University, where she studied technical theater and design. She has a background in carpentry and fabrication and has worked in specialty shops, using a wide variety of tools and materials, for more than 20 years.

Becca has also written for Angi, where she specializes in creating guides for DIY, home maintenance, and renovations, and she indulges her love of sci-fi and fantasy by writing about entertainment and science for Giant Freakin Robot. She serves on the board of the Good Junk Sanctuary in Portland, Oregon, focusing on community engagement in the DIY and reuse space.
